Project description

Som Energia and UOC’s IDENTICAT research group work together to manage linguistic diversity in the cooperative’s participatory spaces and activities. Drawing on a shared framework, they develop protocols tailored to each context, train the technical team and monitor implementation. The aim is to enable members to participate and understand one another while making the different languages visible, without giving up Catalan as the language of governance and communication. The approach combines resources such as intercomprehension between Romance languages and interpreting, and is applied in settings including general assemblies and members’ meetings.
